Many of the employment law challenges in a workplace are closely intertwined with leadership issues. Therefore, leadership and employment law often go hand in hand. However, addressing these issues requires not only legal expertise but also practical leadership experience – something that not all employment lawyers have.

The Employer Lawyer is a law firm that helps employers with issues within labor law and leadership.

My name is Christoffer Lewinowitz, I am the founder of Arbetsgivarjuristen (The employer lawyer) a law firm specialised in labor and employment law. I have worked as an employment lawyer and manager my entire adult life. Both within organizations, listed companies and agencies.

Labor law is the rules and customs that constitute the relationship between employer and employee, or, more simply put, between manager and employee.

However, many of the employment law problems that arise in the workplace are related to leadership issues. Therefore, leadership and employment law go hand in hand. However, not all employment law lawyers have experience with leadership.

I usually say that working as a manager and being a parent are among the most difficult things a person can do, but also the most rewarding. These are two jobs that cannot be taught. But are an experience-based skill. What makes it easier, however, is a mentor and support when things go wrong.

One of the reasons I started the employer's lawyer is because many employers are faced with very difficult situations in connection with personnel issues. Especially if it goes to court.

For a fixed price each year, you, who have personnel responsibilities, can receive unlimited advice and assistance from an employment lawyer on issues ranging from equality plans, leadership during change to issues regarding dismissal.

A regular legal expenses insurance does not cover employment law disputes. A Security Agreement with the employer's lawyer can therefore be a good complement as, after a qualifying period, it includes legal fees in court in the event that the employer is sued.

What does the agreement mean?

The idea behind the security agreement is that it should feel safe to be a manager and employer and to hire staff. That is why most of it is included in the security agreement. Did you know that the legal protection in most business insurance does not cover labor law disputes? That is why the security agreement is a good complement to legal protection insurance.

What is not included?

Disputes that the employer wants to initiate against the employee are not included. That is, cases where the employer wants to sue their employee. The philosophy behind the agreement is that this will not be necessary when you have a security agreement.

The preparation of documents such as contracts by a lawyer is not included. However, unlimited advice is included over the phone, email or video when you wish to prepare these documents. The agreement includes a large template library where the idea is that the client works on these themselves while a lawyer is at your side for advice.

How much does a security agreement cost?

The idea is that all employers, regardless of size, should be able to sign a security agreement. That is why the price is set low. You can see the prices under the "Security Agreement" button at the top right. The prices are about half to one and a half months' salary, depending on the number of employees.
